WP 1

Scenarios of waste accumulation and treatment

The aim of this WP is to identify which industries and/or which conditions within a company are necessary to install a vacuum system to collect waste.

WP 2 Case study

The aim of WP2 is to identify industry sectors based on the results of WP1 where an installation of a vacuum system can be done.
WP 3 Characterization of waste streams

The aim of WP3 is to characterize waste streams within the food industry. For a decision support system it is necassary to define possible compositions of waste streams.
WP 4 Conversion of high organic load waste streams

The aim of WP4 is to identify efficient bioenergy production routes and to define (onsite) boundary conditions (WP1) for the implementation into the BioSuck concept (WP6).
WP 5 Sustainability evaluation

The aim of WP5 is to evaluate the sustainablility of the BioSuck waste processing technologies and uses of the processed materials by an assessment.
WP 6 Decision support system

The aim is a decision support system that will deliver a sustainable treatment solution for a waste stream depending on its composition, amount of waste, recyclable fraction and the reduction of water amount because of the redesign of the waste collection (vacuum lines).
WP 7 Dissemination & Exploitation

The aim of this WP is to guarantee an effective and efficient communication and dissemination of project results towards the different target groups.
WP 8 Project management

WP8 deals with the administrative requirement of managing an ERA-Net project and with managing communication between all project partners.
